In association with the Center of International Theatre Development (CITD), headed by Philip Arnoult, Moscow Times columnist and critic John Freedman, and Arena Stage’s Senior Dramaturg Mark Bly, LMDA has launched a new initiative to expose and introduce the wealth of contemporary Russian Drama to a wider audience.  In this section, you can download plays by a selection of Russia’s most popular playwrights writing today, peruse reviews of Russian plays and festivals, read articles contextualizing the Russian drama landscape, view images from productions, and keep current on Russian productions appearing in North America.
