LA Stage has been organizing informal meetups over the past few years for area theater professionals to discover commonality, solidarity, and inspiration in how we practice our specific theatre professions.

 In this Literary Managers meetup, we'll discuss: How do we champion important new playwriting voices? How do we manage our literary offices? What techniques, challenges, and victories can we discover and share with each other?? Whether you've been a literary manager for your theater for two weeks or two decades, whether you are a literary manager present or past, come on by!

Scott Horstein, Southwest rep of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA), and Douglas Clayton, Programs Director for LA STAGE, will moderate the discussion and also provide information on LA STAGE resources, the upcoming TCG Conference, and LMDA, the North American service organization that supports literary managers and dramaturgs through numerous programs.
