Dramaturg Driven Grants
Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas offers seed money to support projects conceived, spearheaded, and/or orchestrated by LMDA member dramaturgs. This $500 grant is designed to support unique and innovative projects that are 'driven' by dramaturgs. Past projects have come from across the theatrical and academic spectrum but are united by the driving force of a dramaturg to make the project happen.
Deadlines: April 1 and October 1, each year.
To apply, send your proposal to the email addresses below by the deadline.
Your proposal should contain:
- Project description: include details of the central role taken by the dramaturg applicant and how this project will be able to move forward with the assistance of this grant; we are interested in innovative projects that are striving to break new ground in the professional and academic fields, so please tell us how your project fits this criteria
- Participants: include a bio of dramaturg applicant
- Proposed budget
- Timeline
