Submission Guidelines
All submissions should be emailed to the editor, Sydney Cheek-O’Donnell, with the words “Review Article Submission” in the subject line.
- When submitting scholarly articles for peer-review, please send two Microsoft Word files: a title page and the article.
- The title page should contain the author’s name, address, email address, telephone number, institutional information, brief bio, the article title, and an abstract of approximately 250 words.
- The article file should be between 1000 and 6000 words, double-spaced, conform to the most recent MLA formatting guidelines, and include a Works Cited.
- The author’s name should not appear in the article file. Inclusion of illustrations and photographs is encouraged.
- In the article file, include a numbered list of illustrations and photographs that, for each image, credits the artist or photographer and provides any relevant information about the subject.
- Submitters will receive confirmation of the receipt of articles within two weeks.
- Authors submitting creative work or more casual essays not intended for peer-review need not follow MLA style.
