“Dramaturgy supports the creative process with a specific focus on the creation and interpretation of the text. I believe that within that definition there is great range in terms of the definitions of “support”, “process” and “text.” Personally I believe the act of dramaturgy includes careful listening, curious inquiry, openness, honesty, imagination and rigour; it simultaneously considers the details and the big picture. It is about asking the right questions at the right time. It is about encouraging conversation and facilitating the vital exchange of ideas and energy that makes theatre unique.”

Spotlight Sponsor Membership

$500/year; open to theatres, universities, and other organizations; includes all privileges for up to six Individual members, plus additional promotional benefits.

Institutional Membership

$200/year; open to theatres, universities, and other organizations; includes all Individual Membership privileges for up to four staff, faculty, student or intern members of your institution.

Individual Membership

$75/year; access to all privileges and services, including voting rights and eligibility for office.

Student/Intern Membership

$30/year; access to all privileges and services, except voting rights and eligibility for office. (Photocopy of student ID or statement from intern supervisor required)
