Every day, we're giving, getting, tabling, and otherwise navigating feedback. But how well? With what casualties? To what yelps of joyous breakthrough? In the hottest town hall event of the fall season you are invited to join fellow dramaturgs, literary managers, playwrights, directors and others with a zeal for creating work in open and collaborative environments. We will be admitting and addressing that with collaboration comes a range of differing perspectives, potential pitfalls and the possibility of vibrant, passionate, mind expanding art.
Bring your stories of what has worked brilliantly in the past and where you fell on your face. We’ll make the space for the burning questions you’ve never asked, the beefs you need to get off your chest and some brilliant soliloquizing about what everyone in the American theater should be doing better.
Bring your opinions; we’ll provide the soapbox.
Oct 26, from 2:30-5 p.m. at HERE Arts Center (145 6th Avenue at Spring Street)
Feel free to drop in for a bit or be there the whole time.
