Anna is a Beijing-based theatre artist and traveler. She holds a BA in Theatre and Poetry from Clemson University, where she contributed work in both performance and dramaturgy, and was selected for the Region IV KCACTF award in dramaturgy in 2009 for her work with a new play. As a Company Artist with Baltimore's Generous Company, she has been on the team of GenCo's WordBRIDGE Playwrights Lab since 2007.
Since moving to China in 2009, Anna has collaborated with several theatre and performance groups including Cheeky Monkey Theater, Beijing International Theater Experience, Peking University Institute of World Theater and Film, Beijing Independent Artists, Wingspeak and others. She and cohort David Jacobi founded MONSTER DOWN! theatre in the Spring of 2011. In addition to producing, Anna also works as a freelance actor, director, and dramaturg around Beijing, as well as an American Literature and Culture lecturer at Beihang University.
