Rachel Ditor is the literary manager at the Arts Club Theatre. For the company she runs the Silver Commissions project, ReACT: new plays in progress, a theatre production internship with the University of British Columbia, and acts a dramaturg on new plays written for the Arts Club. She is also an adjunct professor at UBC teaching dramaturgy, a former member of the Board of Directors for LMDA, and the recipient of the Playwrights Guild of Canada's Bra D'Or Award for her support of the work of women playwrights. Rachel is also a freelance director.
The Arts Club Theatre is western Canada's largest theatre company, producing a year round season in its three venues, including premiering three new plays annually. Bill Millerd, ACT's artistic managing director, is Canada's longest serving AD and the recipient of the Order of Canada.
