I achieved my undergraduate degree in History from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2006. While working at the Living Arts Centre I developed the French Educational Arts Program at the Centre through a Trillium Foundation of Ontario grant and the program is now fully self-sustaining. I is passionate about teaching and the development of students' critical and creative skills. For the past three years I worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Theater at the University of Massachusetts. I graduated with an MFA in Dramaturgy in May 2014. My primary areas of research are postcolonial studies, pedagogical practices, translation (French to English), and 20th Century French Canadian theatre. I have worked as an assistant dramaturge and assistant director on several productions.
