Athena Project--located in Denver, Colorado--is proud to announce the call for submissions for its Plays In Progress Series (PIP Series). This Series will take place in Denver at a location to be determined over the course of approximately March-April, 2017, as part of a larger arts festival celebrating the voices of female artists. Four new plays will be selected based on a blind submission process and given a dramaturg, director, cast and workshop level production during the Festival. LMDA Canada will hold its third Annual General Meeting Friday February 26th at 1PM EST in the second floor classroom at YPT located at 165 Front St E, Toronto, ON. The Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA) is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2015 Dramaturg Driven Grant: Molly FitzMaurice. This round of grants saw eight applications and the selection process was overseen by LMDA’s Vice-President of Programs, Stephen Colella, along with committee members David Copelin, Roxanne Ray and Sarah Stanley.
